Updated Wednesday, August 16:  Creek levels are low and slow, but better than they have been in the past week (at least to start the day).  They will continue to drop as the day goes on.

Estimated float time is approximately an hour and a half to an hour and 40 minutes.

Tips for tubing in low water: try to stay in the current by using your arms to paddle.  Lift your bottom when going over shallow and rocky areas.

Everyone must complete a liability waiver prior to either of our tubing trips. Download, print a copy and bring it along to save time.

Regular Tubing Trip

Come and drift along in quiet solitude along the scenic Pequea Creek.  It will be a memorable trip for the whole family.  This section of the creek alternates between calm water and rapids. Visitors have seen great blue herons, mink, geese, ducks, dragonflies, and butterflies.

We provide the tubes necessary for you to spend about an hour and 15 minutes relaxing on the creek.  You enter the creek with one of our canvas covered tubes right in front of the mill.  You exit the creek about 2 miles downstream where our shuttle van will conveniently pick you up and return you to the mill at the end of your float.

Recommended for ages 6+.

Kayak Tube Trip

In this longer tubing trip we drive you approximately 8 miles upstream where you get in the water with our kayak tube that comes complete with a paddle and drink holder. This trip can last from 3 to 5 hours depending on water level and how much you paddle. Your trip ends when you are back at Sickman's Mill.

This is a style of tube, not a kayak or an inflatable kayak.  You will get wet on this trip.  Recommended for ages 12+.

This trip is by reservation only and departs at 11 am only.
